Re: Question for 2303 power supply

Hi Lewisjia, 1. First, send the commands to config for your test, e.g. : :VOLT 5 ‘ Set output voltage to 5V. :SENS:CURR:RANG:AUTO ON ‘ Enable auto range for current. :CURR 750e-3 ‘ Set current limit to 750mA. :CURR:TYPE TRIP ‘ Select Trip mode for current limit. :SENS:FUNC ‘CURR’ ‘ Select the curren...

Re: why 2400 sweep twice for ten points

Hello, Maybe you can try to add three commands at the end of the commands list that Kenneth edited, and the SMU will sweep back from 1mA to 0.1mA and measure again. But there is a trade-off, that means, there is a gap between the two sweeps, SMU must be off first, then turned on to output the second...

Re: 6517B idle current

When receiving the 8009 fixture, there should be an insulation sample between the upper and lower electrodes, when you take out the sample, the upper and lower electrodes will not contact with each other, they are separated, so the circuit is open not short. So you can use the REL button to subtract...

Re: Problem of 2182A

Hi, What you described is a normal phenomenon, if the circuit is open, there is still some background noise in the instrument, besides, the internal circuit will continously amplify the noise so maybe the result is as you saw. But it will not influnce the reading if you cennect the DUT to the instru...

Re: Can 2306 Be used As Two Battery Channels?

Hi, Both of the Battery Channel and the Charger Channel can sink current, the main differents are as follows: 1. DC voltage output accuracy; 2. DC voltage output programming resolution; 3. DC voltage output transient response time; 4. Battery channel has a variable output impedance function while th...

Re: Do risk exist when forcing voltage internal IC?

Q1. We wonder that if this method would have risk to damage the internal MOS? A1. Whether the method would have risk to damage the internal MOS doesn't depend on the testing instrument's spec, I suggest you check the IC's reference spec to make sure the source voltage and current won't exceed the ma...
