Re: 2200-71-1 Matlab VISA Object

Hello, 'vendor' = 'keithley' 'rsrcname' = depends on the remote interface you are using. If it is USB, then something like 'USB::0x0699::0x0397::9999999::INSTR'' should be entered. this string contains a serial # specific to your power supply. you can find this information using NI VISA Interactive,...

Re: Serial Interface

Thank you for pointing out the RS232 content in the manual. It will be removed. The RS232 is a factory-only port. We support remote communication over GPIB and USB ports. With that said, you are still free to try the connection over RS232 even without the Menu selection on the front panel. We just c...

Re: Using List Mode to send continuous pulse

Hello Jim, There are a few changes you need to make: 1. The list has to be saved to a memory location before execution is allowed. 2. You need a *TRG in your code to trigger the execution of the list. 3. I suggest that you move the BUS setting of the trigger source to the beginning of your code for ...

Re: Bypassing error 120 for Keithley 2200-20-5

Hello. I tried your Labview code by stripping out the DAQ related actions and keeping the power supply ones. To make things simple, I fed a constant voltage in the while loop. I ran the program for more than 1/2hr and did not see an errors. So, I need more description on the fail symptoms in order t...

Re: Serial Interface

The serial interface is a factory test port only. I am sorry that it still shows up in the communication menu. We have already made changes so that the serial port does not show up in the communication menu. Please set up your unit to USB or GPIB port. If it poses any further inconvenience, do not h...

Re: Using a 2602 for Switchmode Regulator Measurements

Instead of sinking a current on the load source meter, try sourcing a voltage that is smaller than the output voltage of the regulator. Set the compliance current of the load source meter to the desired load current. I have tried this method with a couple of linear voltage regulators here. It is lit...
