Re: Using 2651A at Higher DC current

I have a question regarding the two meters in parallel. At the computer side, can the computer treat the two Keithley as one? E.g. Can I set the current at 40A, 10V at the computer side? We have some other instrument and control software with third party Keithley 2651A driver.

Best,

Aki

Hello Andrea,

Thanks for your reply. Could you also let me know the difference between Keithley 2601A and Keithley 2601?

Difference between Keithley 2601A and Keithley 2601B

Are there any major difference between the Keithley 2601A and Keithley 2601B?

Re: Combining multiple 2400 in series for voltage capacity

Thank you very much Dale. I am going to try it. By the way, we probably want to remote control those two 2400 'in series'. Is it possible to set one 2400 as a master and the other as a slave?

Combining multiple 2400 in series for voltage capacity

Hi,

I would like to combine multiple Keithley 2400 in series to get higher voltage. Is it safe to do that? I checked - but only able to find how to connect them in parallel.

Thanks,

Aki

Re: Keithley 2002 and Keithley 2700 trigger time

Thank you very much Dale.

I have another question. How long does the Keithley 2700 take to respond the trigger (from the time it receive the trigger signal to the beginning of the aperture time)? Is the respond time also related with any of the four phases? Thanks.

Best,

Aki

Keithley 2002 and Keithley 2700 trigger time

Hi Keithley team, I am using Keithley 2400 and Keithley 2700 together for a triggered memory scan (Keithley 2400 mixed DC IV and VI memory scan, Keithley 2700 triggered DC Curr scan only). I noticed Keithley 2700 has a minimum Aperture (Gate time) of 0.01 second, or NPLC=0.1, which is not fast enoug...

Re: Can 2400 do mixed scan?

Oh Great! Thank you very much for your help Nathan Aki, Yes the 2400 can do mixed Source I and Source V sweeps. I would take a look at Section 10 in the 2400 User's Manual which is all about sweeping. In there, look for the fourth type of sweep called "Source Memory sweep." You get up to 100 points ...

Can 2400 do mixed scan?

Hi,

I am doing mixed IV and VI test and I need fast measurment speed and high accuracy. I found list measurment can do only single type of scan: IV or VI. Can Keithley 2400 Series do mixed type scan? If not, can any other Keithley series do mixed type scan? Thank you very much.

Best,

Aki

Re: 2602 Channel A, Channel B internal trigger

Thank you Nathan. It shows on the top-left corner: '2602 SYSTEM SourceMeter' So I think it is a KE2602. Actually I want to have channel A turn on first, wait for a while, and turn off A, then turn on B shortly (the shorter the better). Are you looking to have both turn on simultaneously, or actually...

2602 Channel A, Channel B internal trigger

Hi All, I am using Keithley 2602 SourceMeter and I need to trigger channel B using channel A. Is there an internal trigger funcion? I tried to use LabVIEW software trigger (enable channel A via GPIB then enable channel B via GPIB) but I found the speed is too slow. Please let me know if there is a b...

Dale C wrote:Looks like you set up the TRACE buffer for the Model 2700.
But you never send the :TRACE:DATA? command query to retrieve the data.
The :FETCH? query is sent, which would only send one reading.
Try sending :TRACE:DATA? to obtain the TRACE buffer data.

Keithley 2400 and 2700 Communication

I tried to communicate the KE2400 and KE2700 using SCPI command. I saw from the panel KE2400 is triggering KE2700. KE2400 gave the data I want, however, I am only able to read 1 data from KE2700 buffer. The KE2400 gives me Error 800 sometimes, but not always. Below is my SCPI Program. By the way, ho...
