Hi Nathan,
Thank you for your reply. I found out that the single quotation mark (') around the key word TEMP are replace with a non-text-style single quotation mark when I copy and paste commands from the 2701 user manual. Now problem is solved.
Cheers,
Brent Shen

How to Leave Scan Mode
Hi there, I successfully perform a scan on 8 channels. However, when the scan process ends and I was gonna measure a single channel (e.g. 102 for vdc), I got error 221 (Setting Conflict) and 215 (Arm Locking). Please tell me how to exit the scan mode back into normal single-shot measurement. Also, I...

Temperature Configuration
Hi there,
When I typed SENS:FUNC ’TEMP’,(@108) for Module 7708, I got the error message, "Invalid Character". Could you tell me what causes it? Also, this happened when no thermocouple attached to channel 108. Many Thanks.
P.S. Please email it to [email protected]
Sincerely,
Brent Shen

Scan Settings
Hi there, Could you verify the following code segment to scan 8 channels (dc voltage measurement on 101 to 107 and temperature measurement on 108)? Assuming only 7708 is installed in slot 1 of 2701 and tcpClient is a winsock object in VB. <Start of Code Segment> Line 01: tcpClient.SendData "*RST" & ...

Hi Dale, Thank you for your reply. Another related question for you. If I switch the previous two commands as follows 1) ROUT:MULT:CLOS (@201) ' Channel 201 of 7705 switches a built-in relay for some purpose; 7705 in slot 2 2) ROUT:CLOS (@101) ' Channel 101 of 7708 senses a dc voltage; 7708 in slot ...

Hi there, Assume that 2701 contains 7708 in slot 1 and 7705 in slot 2. If the following commands are entered remotely, 1) ROUT:CLOS (@101) ' channel 101 senses a dc voltage 2) ROUT:MULT:CLOS (@201) ' channel 201 switches a built-in relay of 7705 for some purpose My question: The command on line 2 sh...

Multiple Channel Operation
Hi Dale,
Assume that 7708 is installed in slot 1 of 2701. If I type the following command,
1) ROUT:OPEN:ALL
2) ROUT:MULT:CLOS (@102,145)
3) ROUT:CLOS (@101)
Then, is channel 102 automatically open? or both channels 101 and 102 are closed?
Many Thanks

Module 7705 Pin Assignment
Hi there,
I saw two 50-pin female D-sub connectors on the plug-in module 7705 (40-Channel Control Module). However, I just want to know the pin assignment and how the pins are related to the internal 40 channels. Many thanks.
P.S. Please email the answer to [email protected]
