TDS3014 sampling question

I am using one channel of the TDS3014 to capture a 100Hz wave (edge rate is 5ms) When I turn the time/div knob to 10msecs per div, the wave becomes dotted instead of continuous display. I don't understand whats happening here. The scope sampling rate is 1.24MSps, memory depth is 10K It should be abl...

Re: AFG3022 Changing amplitude and offset

Same time - within nanoseconds would be great. But I can settle for milliseconds.

AFG3022 Changing amplitude and offset

Is there a way to change amplitude and offset at the same time.
Let's say I need a signal with variable amplitude from 1Vpk-pk to 5Vpk-pk
Offset should change accordingly from 0.5 to 2.5v.
This is for a sine wave.

AFG3022C CH1= -CH2?

Simple question - Can I make CH2 = inverted form of CH1 ?

I am trying to create SPI clock using Burst. The SPI clock idle state is high. But I cant seem to do that in the AFG.
Any ideas?

AFG3022C USB as a power source

Can I use the USB 5V as a power source on the AFG3022C?
Current draw will be 200-300mA

Re: SMU basic question

I am not overly concerned about the precision. Let's just assume its precise. Is it just as easy to make V,I, R measurement as a regular bench DMM, like the keithley 2700. On a regular bench DMM, I just have to press the "ohms" button and put the probes across the resistor and I get the reading. Doe...

SMU basic question

Can the SMU work only as a precision DMM or should I always source and measure?

2400 Source accuracy

The 2400 series datasheet mentions the source programming resolution is 5uV in 200mV range. The 1year accuracy is mentioned as 0.02%+600uV What does this mean? Can I get 5uV resolution by using the buttons on the instrument or do I need to program the instrument using GPIB etc? Also, what is the min...

2400 SMU statistics capability?

Is the 2400 SMU capable of doing statistics on measurement?

Can I source and measure at the same time or is it only one function at a time?

TDS2024 recording jitter

I am uisng a USB stick to record waveforms on the TDS2024 scope.
When I record the waveform, the scope freezes the screen and writes it to the usb stick.
But how do I record jitter? If you freeze, you only get one edge.

AFG3022B max output voltage

Hi guys, I have a question about the AFG 3022B signal gen. I am trying to generate a square wave with amplitude 0-20V. The Max output of AFG3022B is 20Vp-p. But I can't seem to get 0-20V output. My load is hi-Z. I can't get more than 0-10V (with offset=5V). Is there any workaround? I can get -10v to...

Probe model

I am doing signal integrity simulation. I would also like to simulate probing. But I cannot find a good model of the oscilloscope probe. What I have now is a Rtip and Ctip in series with Rscope and Cscope. (10x attenuation). Rtip is 900K Ctip is 1.11pF Rscope is 100K Cscope is 8pF This probe is for ...
