Keithley 6485 Low Noise Cable

Does anyone know how better the Keithley cable kit 4803, with low noise cable performs in place of usual coaxial cable? It is too small for our lab but I would still like to put some effort into it, if it is worthwhile. I am measuring low level currents (100 fA-100 pA) over long distance (distance d...

Re: 6485 Sample Rate with Labview

Hello Dale.

Do you think I can use this similar labview program for fast measurements using 6485 over RS-232?
I need some 50 readings per second.

Labview driver

I am using a 6485 - and want to control it using NI Labview over an RS-232 cable (ending in RS-232 to USB connector).
I have all drivers from Keithley, which ones do I need from NI?
Urgent response sought!

URGENT: Real-time Data Acquisition using 6485 on EXCELinx

I have a 6485 -, and we want to record time variation of current (expected to be some hundred femto-amps, 1E-15 A) over few minutes. I am new to SCPI, but I found the EXCELinx quite useful. I have two things to ask: 1. Is there a good short manual to help understand various parameters used in EXCELi...
