Interface language of Kickstart 2.0.1

How to change the interface language to English? The Version 1.9 had it in the settings. Now I cannot change to English since the OS uses Chinese language and now it defaulted to Chinese too.

Re: Measuring more than 10k values over time

A simple software loop will not be exactly synchronous to any clock. The trigger model is designed to be used when synchronous behavior is required. If you want to have exactly 1 sec increments, I believe that you would need to use the trigger model. Maybe exactly 1sec is not needed, but what about...

Measuring more than 10k values over time

Hello, I am during drift measurements of some mosfets using 2 2450 smus with kickstart to setup the gate and drain biases. I am loging the current over time. I want to measure for 3 days every 1sec, but I just noticed that kickstart does not allow more than 10000 points while 2450 can log almost 7 m...

ABS function in the graph view

Hello,
I am measuring IV curves of diodes from reverse to forward bias using kickstart. I would like to have the graph with log Y, but in that case the negative values in reverse bias are not shown, is there a way to have ABS values to have a full current plot in log Y scale?

Re: Measuring current drift over time with 4200-SCS

If you try to use the ITM of KITE with Sampling Mode based test, the highest number of samples supported by the ITM will be 4096. To accomplish this from the KITE environment, you would need to use the KULT tool and write a custom library/module and then execute it from a UTM in KITE. The main reas...

Measuring current drift over time with 4200-SCS

Hello, I would like to perform a transistor Ids drift test over time. The test should apply a constant Vds and Vgs and sample Ids every 1s, to obtain an Ids vs time curve over 3-5days. How could I implement this test using KITE? Or other method that does not involve using Labview with another Laptop...

Re: RS232 to 2400 connection with Labview error 1073807346

On the 2400 and the configuration of the RS-232 communication, what is the Setting for the Terminator? If you double click the KE24XX Initialize VI and examine the block diagram for the implementation, the Serial Interface is configured to use Line Feed at the TermChar. Make sure that the Instrumen...

Re: RS232 to 2400 connection with Labview error 1073807346

Ok, I have downloaded the I/O. I got to the configuration panel but I am bot sure which name I need to change. I have tried to interface with the instrument using the communicator utility by selecting the instrument ASRL4::INSTR (P.S i changed the COM port to 4) and it seems to be working fine (ran ...

RS232 to 2400 connection with Labview error 1073807346

Hello, I am trying to connect the 2400 using RS232 to use with Labview on my laptop. I have downloaded the NI drivers for the SMU. I use a RS232 to usb adapter cable with FTDI FT232R chip. My device is found with NI MAX (see screenshot image). I am trying to run the examples that come with the drive...
