Re: Tbs1072b only boot button working

There is no "reboot" button other than power cycling the instrument. It will need to be sent in for repair.

Re: DPO 4k series Save/Recall ".set" file to remote PC

The DPO4C has the ability to mount a network drive, such as your PC, to the instrument. Refer the the user's and programmer's manual for how to "Mount" an external drive to the instrument.

Re: Tbs1072b only boot button working

You can try removing AC power for 5 minutes, then re-apply AC power and see it it will successfully boot up. If still not booting up it will need to be returned for service.

Re: PROBE OSCILLOSCOPE TPP0500

In the user's manual it states: Maximum input voltage 300 VRMS CAT II. You can download manuals from Tek.com by going to the "Downloads" icon on the right side of the web page. Select the download type as "manuals", enter in your instrument model number and then press "search". At the search results...

Re: TCP0030A Current Probe Offset

What I believe you are seeing is the DC offset of the scope. Each scope has an offset accuracy specification, which typically includes the DC balance as part of that accuracy specification. As for Degaussing/AutoZero, If the wire is un-powered, it typically is OK to leave the probe clamped around it...

Re: AFG3022 collect the screen on the laptop

Try using the command: HCOPy:SDUMp[:IMMediate] which copies the screen image and saves the file to USB memory. Then transfer the file to the PC.

Re: TCP0030A Current Probe Offset

The offset you are seeing is not normal. The Degauss/Auto Zero should zero out any offset. I would first try setting the scope, that the probe is attached to, its “default” settings. (to eliminate any offset, it may be contributing). If the probe is still showing the large offset values and the Dega...

Re: DPO2012 oscilloscope and P2220 Passive Voltage Probe

You will not be able to correctly compensate the probe to the scope channel input. An uncompensated probe can lead to various measurement errors, especially in measuring pulse rise or fall times.

Re: AFG1062 - Reading the internal counter value via remote

There is no programming command for reading the data from the frequency counter function. The frequency data must be read from the displayed values.

Re: AFG1062 interpolation arbitrary mode

In the AFG1062 you can set the power on setting (Utility/System/Power On) to be set for "last powered-off settings". So once you have manually set the interpolation mode, it will remain in that mode when re-powered on.

Re: AFG1062 interpolation arbitrary mode

The Interpolation function is not supported through SCPI. As for selecting what file from the memory use the [SOURce[1|2]]:FUNCtion[:SHAPe] command.

Re: AFG1062 - Reading the internal counter value via remote

If you are referring to the "Frequency/Period test" you measure that on the channel 1 output. You would need to program the AFG1062 to the correct steps for signal output. Refer to page 20 of the Performance Verification procedure (077113203).

Re: DPO4054 firmware 1.13 update or better not?

It is OK to upgrade from V1.9 to the current version V2.68. Just ensure that you follow the installation instructions fully. Also, make sure you use a USB stick that the scope recognizes. (Do this by saving a screen image to the drive and then recall the image on your PC.)

Re: MSO58:Have loading sign while saving the screen image

What is the current firmware version on your MSO58? If is not V1.16.6, I would first recommend updating the V1.16.6. See https://www.tek.com/oscilloscope/mso56- ... ware-v1166

Re: MSO2024B Losing USB connectivity

The issue is related to internal USB driver for this instrument. Ethernet is the preferred connection issue in this type of application.
