Re: TDS3032 will not finish starting up...

I would power down, remove the ethernet module, and repower the unit to see if it gets itself unstuck.

Re: Problem using DPO 4EMBD module

You might want to check your serial#... From the Release notes: "Note: Starting with firmware version 2.15, there are some features and bug fixes that do not apply to DPO models with a serial number of C020000 or less. Those items are denoted with a '+'. (DPO4000 Series products with serial numbers ...

Re: Battery Charge datalogging on DPO4054

Unfortunately, all of our scopes have a upper limit of 1ks/div for the horizontal scale. A possible alternative is to use the recording feature of NI Signal Express Tektronix Edition...Your recording time will only be limited by the available storage on the PC that you record to. You would set the D...

Re: Tektronix 2012B Recording

For your application, you need more record length (samples) to achieve that sampling rate AND get such a long acquisition (10min) The TDS2000B series has 2500 samples available across the screen in any acquisition duration, so to get a 1MS/s rate the scope would have to be in 250us/div horizontal se...

Re: TDS3034b

The position is the position, in units of divisions, that the trace is on the screen.

If the Trace is sitting in the dead center of the scope screen (vertically) the position is zero, if sitting at 2divs up from zero, it is two.

Make sense?

Re: MSO2024 Vertical Position Indicaton

The vertical position indication is not on the main scope screen...you can see your vertical position indication in the same menu that you found the "Set to 0 Divs" setting. Press channel button (1,2...etc.) > press "More" button until "Position" is highlighted...this is where you will see the curre...

In the WFM7120 series, the Status button activates a tile display to one of a possible 5 - 8 different display types (depending on installed options). The different display types are chosen through a sub-menu structure. Press and hold the Status (or the active tile) button for perhaps 1-2 seconds, a...

Re: Download Parallel Bus Data - MSO4104

Currently, the Bus channels are not valid for sources when querying data... The work-around for this is; the decoded data from the Bus can be saved from the event table to a USB or CF flash drive and then transferred off the scope using the filesystem commands. The commands to save the event table t...

Re: Effects of gating when using DPO 70000 series

Gating is just limiting what portion of the waveform is used for a certain measurement...there really isn't an equation that governs how it is applied, you decide where on your trace you want gating. What you may be finding, is that the measurement that you are looking for is done on the first perio...

Re: DPO7054 DPOPWR Option

The Data cannot be saved from inside the spectral analysis measurement results window...only the screen shot can be saved; the button is grayed-out intentionally.

As a work-around, you can use the main scope application to save the data of a spectral plot.

Did you try hitting "F2" on boot?

That works on mine, and then you can change the boot order in the "Boot" menu.

Re: 6804B Run/Stop with a pedal?

A possible solution for you is a small footswitch utility that runs on the scope, we have used it on a DSA70000...it may work on a TDS6000B as well. It is definitely worth a try. I have put the file up on our ftp at the link below, the link will only be active for 24 hours. ftp://ftp.tek.com/outgoin...

Re: Time/div DSO

Not sure what you are asking here...

If you are trying to change the scale of the acquisition (time/div), then typically that is done with the knob labeled "Scale".

If this doesn't help, maybe you could try rephrasing your question.
