The compensation capacitor on the TPP0201 probe is located just behind the BNC connector, immediately underneath where the "TPP0201" model number is printed.

OK, it wasn't clear that you validated the frequency of the compensation signal with a second device.

This is something that should be able to be adjusted/repaired with a fresh scope calibration.

The 1kHz calibration signal on the scope is *not* intended to be a calibrated 1kHz signal source. It's only function is to be used to *compensate* your 10x probes. I'm working on getting that number. Likely safe to say that it will be 25Vdc or greater, maybe as much as 40-50V. As soon as i get confirmation, I'll post it.

Using the Basic Waveform Plug-In, you can create a 6.4GHz sinewave. This gives you an oversample rate of 2.5x, which is the minimum recommended for RF applications. The other RF plug-ins can also be used to create more complex RF waveforms with carrier frequencies up to 6.4GHz.

First issue an ACQUIRE: STOPAFTER SEQUENCE
This will setup the Single acquisition.

Then, ACQUIRE:STATE ON will put the scope in Run mode, waiting for the trigger event.

Once the scope triggers, it will be stopped.

To re-arm the Single mode, issue ACQUIRE:STATE ON again...

SignalVu-PC allows you to set RBW down to 1Hz when the Span is <=1MHz.

From the API manual (page 88), users can use SPECTRUM_GetLimits to get the limit of the spectrum settings. The limit table shows the minimum rbw can be set using API is 10 Hz.
