Keithley 3706A shorter sampling time causes higher total measuring time error

Hello, In datasheet for Keithley 3706A it is written that sampling time can be defined between 10 microseconds and 250 miliseconds. I am using Keithley 3706A and 3730 Matrix Card. The problem is when I perform 100 measurements with 0,1 s of sampling time on single channel (3730 Matrix card) my total...

Re: Overriding input buffer on K3706.

Hi Andrea, Thank you very much for the reply. I am familiar with sending scripts line by line. In fact, I implemented a labview .vi to load all scripts at once everytime we generate a new firmware. However, when sending a function call, I wonder how to deal with delimiters between lines. Can you ju...

Re: Keithley 3706 - electrical resistance measurement

Hello,

I have a same issue, when I change dmm.func from 2wireohms to dcvolts I get a time delays. Meaning, time steps between measurement are not equal.
Did you maybe find a reason of the issue?

Thank you

Keithley 3706A - measuring voltage and resistance by using 3730 matrix card

Hello, I am using Keithley 3706A with 3730 matrix card included. Idea of my program is to measure voltage on channels 1101, 1102 and resistance on channel 1103 of matrix card. This process should be repeated for example five times. Inside for loop I define dmm function, apperture and range for chann...

3706 A, starting measurement before current output is turned on (3750)

Hi, I am using 3706A and 3750 multifunctional card. I am able to apply current to heater from 3750 analog output and take multiple 2 wire resistance measurements (I use dmm.measure() and dmm.measurecount()) while I am applying current. I am able to save the values in buffer and read them out. The pr...

Re: Routing current from analog output (3750) to measure terminals DMM (3706A)

Hi Andrea, Thanks for reply, Yes, I would like to measure current coming from channel 10 (analog output) of 3750 card with DMM. If I have understand it well, I could do it by wiring CH 10 Iout to pin 10 (AMP) and Icom to pin 9 (AMP-LO) of analog backplane connector. Should I then use dmm.func = "dcc...

Routing current from analog output (3750) to measure terminals DMM (3706A)

Hi, I am using Keithley 3706A and 3750 multifunctional card. I would like to route curent signal from channel 10 of 3750 multifunctional card to measure terminals of DMM. Therefore, six backplane relays are available. First two can be used for 2w or 4w ohm resistance measurement. So I would use back...

Re: 2400-voltage measurement before and after current pulse

Hi, thank You for answer, Regarding to figure 11-3 (Remote trigger model) in Keithley 2400 user's manual. I have used custom sweep command to generate current pulse (0,00272 A, 0A) I would like to repeat that pulse for 100 times with on time of pulse 0,3s and off time pulse 2s. I want to measure vol...

2400-voltage measurement before and after current pulse

Hi, I have one simple question. Is it possible to make voltage measurement before and after current pulse? Thing which is important is voltage drop during rising edge and falling edge of pulse. Curent pulses are applied to heater. I have used custom sweep to generate pulses but I don't know how to s...
