Re: Measuring Burst Frequency

Thanks, This is getting close. It seems like the frequency (the 10kHz) bounces around depending where I put the cursors even though it is contained within the waveform. Maybe noise or jitter in the signal. Is there a way to smooth the measurement? Let me know if there is a way to capture the wavefor...

Measuring Burst Frequency

Hello, I am generating a sine wave burst. The carrier frequency of the burst is around 10kHz and it runs for 10 cycles. There is then no signal until the next burst is generated. The frequency of the bursts is 50Hz. How do I accurately measure the carrier frequency (10kHz) and the burst frequency (5...

Re: Trigger on a Pulse Train Stopping

Thanks Will,

That did work, but I was hoping that the time on the scope would freeze as well, like a screen shot. When it triggers, is there a way to know the time it triggered?

Thanks

Trigger on a Pulse Train Stopping

Hello, I have an application where a unique pulse train is generated continuously for 60 minutes. I have a client claim that the pulse train is stopping early. I need to monitor the full pulse train and determine when it stops. Is is possible to trigger on a pulse train when it stops. This would all...
