Hi Andrea,

We are still struggling with this issue. Do you have any suggestions?

Re: How to clear output queue

Hi Andrea, It is a command from a visa communication library Set instrAny = New VisaComLib.FormattedIO488 instrAny.Readnumber() The first thing I do in the functions is to clear the buffer. smu1.reset() smu1.nvbuffer1.clear() smu1.nvbuffer2.clear() However, I found a solution with the instrAny.IO.cl...

Re: 2602B Voltage measurements on semiconductor device

Hi Andrea, Looks like you are asking SMU2 and SMU4 to behave like voltmeters by forcing 0 Amps and Measure V. Yes, that is correct What voltage range is in use for the measurement? 6V or 40V range? We are not actively setting the voltage range. So it's just autorangeing. Should we? What current rang...

2602B Voltage measurements on semiconductor device

Hello, We have four 2602B instruments connected with TSP-link. We have assigned 7 SMUs. We are running the following code, where we make current and voltage measurements on a device. The device is a wheatstone bridge with bondpads. Before running the code we go into contact with the device; we probe...

How to clear output queue

Hi, I am running TSP scripts on 4 2602B instruments with TSP link. I call the scripts from a VBA macro. In the scripts I make measurements with overlappediv command smu3.measure.overlappediv(smu3.nvbuffer1,smu3.nvbuffer2) smu2.measure.overlappediv(smu2.nvbuffer1,smu2.nvbuffer2) smu4.measure.overlapp...

Re: Reading buffers from excel

Hi Andrea,

Thank you! That worked. I still do not understand why it also works if I execute the VBA code a few times. It seems the prompts "dry out". Do you know if the prompts are disabled by default?

Reading buffers from excel

Hi, I have written a script in TSP. This script contains a function. The function performs a measurement on a wheatstone bridge connected to four instruments in a TSPlink network. Measurements are stored in the nvbuffer of each SMU and are finally printed with printbuffer. In excel I execute the fun...

Re: How to execute TSP scripts with IVI drivers

Hi

Something like dmm.System.DirectIO.WriteString ("beeper.beep(0.5,500)")?

For some reason that does not work. I get a .dll error when I try to execute that.

Kind regards Martin

How to execute TSP scripts with IVI drivers

Hi,

I am using IVI drivers to communicate with a 2602B source meter via visual basic (VBA for excel). Two questions:

Is there a way to send a command to a specific TSP link node with the driver?

Is is possible to execute a TSP script with the driver?

Thanks.
