Re: Maximum throughput

Thanks Dale! Those commands definitely sped it up significantly. However, I do not see where this spec came from. Looking in the datasheets, I see that the 770 has an actuation time of "<3 ms" and the 2700 can scan at 180 samples per second. Where does the 50 reads per second come in? Thanks again.

Re: 2700 / Matlab - Read all of buffer in one command

Thanks! The problem was the input buffer size was too small in my Matlab instrument object. I kept all the output elements and increased the input buffer size using " set(obj1, 'InputBufferSize', 12000);"

2700 / Matlab - Read all of buffer in one command

I am using a 2700 with two 7708 cards to take 80 thermocouple measurements. When I perform the scan, and try to read the data out, I only get 12 readings at a time. Is there some way to get them all at once? I image it is some limit either in in GPIB or the matlab toolbox that I am using. I am using...

Re: Maximum throughput

I have the same question for a 7708. I have 2 7708 cards in a 2700. I want to measure all 80 thermocouples as fast as I can. Right now, to test, I have 4 thermocouples connected and cycle through them multiple times to get 80 total data points by setting "SAMP:COUN 80". However, when I do this, it t...
