Re: 2636 and 'listv' sweeps

Hi John, The 2636A and B use a different trigger model to the older non-A version. Please see the example using the Factory script SweepVListMeasureI below: smua.reset() -- Restore Series 2600 defaults. smua.source.limiti = 10e-3 -- Set compliance to 10mA. vlist = {3, 1, 4, 5, 2} -- configure a list...

Re: Resistanve Measurement by 2182A and 238

Hello, Yes you can use the 238 to source a current, while the 2182A measures the voltage across your sample. We do not provide a Delta mode program for the 238, however we do have some 238 example code and a Labview driver available at the link below http://www.keithley.com/support/keidoc_searchresu...

Re: KUSB-488B Not Recognising Test Equipment

Andrew, I have sent you an email on this subject, essentially the faulty module should be returned to this office for inspection, and then we will determine what action to take. If the unit is found to be faulty, we will either repair or replace the unit free of charge, if it is within its warranty ...

Hi,
Are you using a test script to run your test? If so, can you post it here?

We can take a look at it, and either advise on the necessary changes, or provide a fresh example

Re: LabVIEW Status Model VI for 2612 problem

Hi, You need to install the 26xx LV driver, and then point Labview to the correct vi's. The naming should not include KE26xx_ therefore you need SRE.vi and SRE Mask.vi. These can be found in the location below: \instr.lib\ke26xx\Public\Action-Status\Status Model I uploaded the example with the corre...

Re: KUSB-3108 and DT-Open Layers

I tried this in C# and it works, can you change it to VB syntax and try it:

DeviceMgr deviceMgr = DevcieMgr.Get();
Device device = deviceMgr.GetDevcie("KUSB-3102(00)");

Re: KUSB-3100, GetDevice() function Doesn't work with vb 201

Hi,
Try the C# example below, which will list the boards attached to your PC

Code: Select all

DeviceMgr deviceMgr = DeviceMgr.Get();
String[] boards = deviceMgr.GetDeviceNames();

foreach (string board in boards)
{
         Console.WriteLine("Boards = " + board);
}
Console.ReadLine();

Re: Keithley 2000 DMM: Error code

Hello, Did you follow the on screen instructions when running the self test? Test 500 requires a 4 wire shorting plug to be connected the the DMM input. The value you see increasing on the DMM display could just be the integrating circuit counting up with no input applied. Are you able to measure a ...

Hello,
Could you try removing the while loop to see if one measurement is taken? If this works, you could set the trigger count to return more than 1 reading.

Let us know if this helps

Re: 2440 sourcing .38s after sourcing trigger output

If I understand your setup correctly, you only need to change some of the PSO trigger commands to start measurements after the source event. :TRIG:DIR ACC 'wait for trigger event :TRIG:INP SOUR 'waits for the Source Event Detector, which you have already configured with :TRIG:SOUR IMMediate :TRIG:OU...

Marijn, You should be able to run multiple 4 wire scans with ExcelLINX, but if you are happy using the front panel then you could try using HyperTerminal to communicate. If you establish a connection, then send the :READ? command, it should return the results stored in the buffer. I remember trying ...

Re: Similar Function in VB.NET

Hello Pascal,
You should install version C02 the 2700 IVI/VISA driver, as this has many VB.NET examples included.
http://www.keithley.com/support/data?asset=52764

This driver also requires version C04 of the Keithley I/O Layer

Re: 3706-C with 3721

Brian,
It is possible to connect the two multiplexer banks with a relay. If you close one of the spare analog backplane relays, for example Analog Backplane 6, on both Multiplexer 1 and Multiplexer 2, then you will have a 2 pole 1 x 40 multiplexer.
