KPCI-3160 Driver Links and WIN 7

Devices KPCI-3160 and KPCI-PIO96 both use the DriverLynx library for function calls, both the ActiveX and the DLL function call interface. Has Keithley already tested this under Windows 7 (32-bit)? Has Keithley already tested this under Windows 7 (64-bit)? What software installation instructions can...

I just want to download the stored data

I have already run my test and the data is stored in the unit(2700,2701 or 2750).
Now I want to download that data into Excel.

6517B temperature measurements

I need to measure liquid nitrogen levels of temperature(e.g.-190C). The Model 6517B can measure temperature with a type K thermocouple.
But I see the specifications are only for -25C to 150C. What is the restriction?

2000 and ACV response speed

I am using a Keithley 2000 with SCAN option to read AC voltage. The meter is controlled by a VB6 application and is connected to the computer via GPIB. To take the reading, I use the following commands: ilwrt KDev%, "CONF:VOLT:AC", 12 ilwrt KDev%, "ROUT:CLOSE (@1)", 15 ilwrt KDev%, "MEAS?", 5 ilrd K...

Rates configuration

Hello, I've been communicating to Keithley 2000 using a GPIB/USB connection. The multimeter is being used to take fast DC voltage readings. I was wondering if there is a SCPI command to change the RATE from medium to fast? When I'm in local mode I can change the rate using the button on the device b...

Would you please tell me if, at some point in time, we can look forward to a 64-bit version of DriverLINX capable of operating within 64-bit versions of Windows? And, if so, can you tell me what time frame we are looking at before such is available. My boss want to know. He also wants to know what w...

2420 Source Meter/Resistivity Measurements - Ferrite Samples

I am making resistivity measurements on some ferrite samples using a 2420 source meter and the two probe method. I have notice that on some samples when ever I change the current source range, not the source value just the range, (ie. Isrc 0.10000mA --> Isrc 00.1000mA), the output will change dramat...

Voltage output of 2636 when sense wire is not connected

Keithley 2636A is capable of putting out 200 Volts. In the Voltage source mode and remote sensing, when the sensing wire is not connected, the output voltage can be forced up to 200 V, even when only low voltages are requested. Is there a hardware or software switch that would limit the maximum outp...
