Re: Cursors gone west

It's not a bug if you cannot recreate the error. :D
If you find out what steps it takes to recreate this malfunction please let us know.

Re: DPO3014: Reading event table over VXI11

So what I've dug up is that instrument commands to read the event table don't exist. Nor were any undocumented commands mentioned.

Nope. The TDS 2022B has a record length of 2500 points, always.

Re: Video test waveforms for AFG3000 Arb Waveform Generators

I doubt anyone does because the AFG3000 (and even the AWG5000 and 7000) do not have enough memory to store all the data required for video test signals. A waveform generator stores and plays back every voltage level per cycle where as a video test signal generator uses some encoding and other space ...

Re: Fuction generator AFG3022 .tfs and .tfw files

*.TFS files do not contain any waveform data but they can tell the AFG to load waveforms from the internal memory or *.TFW files from USB memory *.TFW files ARE waveforms but it doesn't have any timing or offset data, only shape, hence the need for a settings file to save frequency, amplitude, offse...

Re: WFM Converter

I've been able to recreate your issue with my own DPO70k. The ConvertTekWfm.exe seems to not understand the FastFrame waveform captures. I doubt it would be updated since the DPO70k has the ability to save text file waveforms. The ConvertTekWfm.exe tool is provided as a free utility. As such Tektron...

Re: DPO3014: Reading event table over VXI11

In my experience, testing a DUT and capturing the data will happen in one phase. Then once the data has been captured by the technician in the lab, it's sent to the engineers at their desk for a post-test analysis phase. With a nice 4GB CF card, this is works rather well. However, I will agree that ...

Re: DPO70404 can't display rise and fall time measurement

Your waveform does everything to break the scope's measurement algorithms. It doesn't settle at the peak and the back end of your pulse you have two settling levels. You could try gating your measurements with cursors but I cannot say how well that would work. Personally I'd just use the cursors to ...

Re: TDS3000B series hardcopy ethernet port

You can send the hard copies to a networked printer but I’m going to assume you’d like the actual image files. Unfortunately Tektronix does not have a solution for the requested functionality at this time. Now, with the formalities aside, this is what can be done. It is possible to create a program ...

Re: Help with vertical tilt on TEK 2246

I’m going to venture a guess that the CRT within your 2246 hasn’t aged very well. If you’ve followed all the instructions in the service manual it sounds like the CRT needs repair. For the least amount of effort, you could try swapping the CRT from another 2246. Preferably one that doesn’t work but ...
