I am doing latchup testing using a 2400/2410 source meter as DC source. During the latchup testing the applied DC voltage (VDD) drops temporarly (for 0.5 to 1 us) e.g. from the set 3 V to 1.5 V but also from the set 5 V to 1.5 V. The response of the source meter is basically an increase of the current which goes from the source meter to my device under test.
Do you have any information on the response time of the source meter? How time it need to restore an programmed output voltage if e.g. a device under test causes a significant drop?
The device impedance during the voltage drop is very low and can been seen as a short.

Transient Response Time - 30usec minimum for the output to recover to its spec following a step change in load.
This is stated in the published specifications under "Additional Source Specifications"
