2440 SourceMeter to source current (5Amp) and a Keithly 2182

Post by kaveh.keshtkaran » January 4th, 2012, 8:54 am

Can I use a Keithly 2440 SourceMeter to source current (5 Amp) and a Keithly 2182A NanoVoltMeter to measure voltage in a 4 probe configuration (DC)?

Yes, if you need higher current handling than the 2400 can provide, the 2440 will work in tandem with the 2182A to do low resistance measurements in a 4 point probe configuration. Just use the configuration in the manuals to do delta mode measurements, or if you prefer straight, DC, they will work fine in a 4 probe technique.
