Error message in Kickstart using 2400 SourceMeter

Post by nanda12 » April 3rd, 2017, 12:19 am

On taking the I-V characterization using Kickstart with 2400 SourceMeter.

I/O error is displayed: Number = no?
Message = Index was outside the bounds of the array.

Please advice.

Thanks.

Need specific information about your use case.
What version of KickStart are you using?
What firmware does your Model 2400 have?
What IV Characterizer settings did you use that were changed from the default test?
When did the error occur?
At the time the error occurred was anyone using the instrument in local mode or accessing the instrument with any other program?

Can you save your KickStart file for us to attempt to reproduce your problem?
Please zip it up and attached the zip file.

Thanks.

Thanks Stuart.

Now the problem is resolved. Previously I was testing I -V characterization while the measurement set up was open circuit.
