Wrong readings

Post by shza17 » July 21st, 2017, 7:12 pm

I am testing my Keithley 2400 using standard resistor. I have tried 3 different standard 10 Ohm resistors all of which had been confirmed using multimeter. I use 2 wire connection. The Keithley shows a resistance value of ~3 MOhm. I tried both manual and auto modes, and both showed the same ~3 MOhm value.
I also applied a 10 mA current to the 10 Ohm resistance and set the Cmpl at 21 V. The Keithley showed a measured voltage of 5.8 V! How is that possible? Nothing was blinking on the screen, btw.
Please help me figure out what is going wrong here. Thank you!
