2 are 2612's connected via TSPlink. These show up as "Group1" in the hardware configuration and consist of SMU1, SMU2, SMU3, SMU4. They are on gpib 10
I also have a 2400 connected and it shows up as a standalone instrument on gpib 11
I can talk to the group hardware using the a_smu = node[x].smua snytax, but how do I talk to the 2400?

To access the 2400 on the GPIB bus, use a Python Test Module (PTM). With the access to the GPIB library, you can communicate with any instrument.
There is also a Python library of commands (forcev, limiti, measi, etc.) for control of both 2400 and 26xx based SMU.
NOTE: there is a fairly robust GeneralTest library available to you. Add a PTM to your test tree. Into this PTM, import the Combined_Test_Mixed_SMUs.py library.
This gives you a GUI interface that recognizes all the SMU in your system. It will allow the "mixed SMU" use case.
