1700 readings/second at 4½ digits via GPIB
1/1700 = 0.0006 s or less than 1 ms. However, I seem to only be able to get measurements spaced by 7 ms when saving to the internal buffer.
I'm setting the reading speed to NPLC = 0.01 (.01/60Hz = 0.0002 s) and then saving the readings to the internal buffer. When I read out the buffer, all the data is spaced by about 7 ms. I've even tried disabling the display (which it says in the manual allows the unit to run faster), but it didn't change the timing.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
