Input buffer error

Post by Nighthunter » June 22nd, 2011, 10:05 pm

Hello,

I was making a measurement using LV and Keithley 2400 with serial comunication.
During measurement where I have set moving filtering to 20 and speed on 10NPLC, after a while I got a error -363 Input buffer overrun.

Could anyone help me to avoid this error or at least how to clush buffer in case of this kind of events?
I was checking datasheets but I haven't find any clues what to do.
At the moment only thing that set Keithley back to it's feet is a manual Off/On.

Since I'm making a industrial measurement program, this is not a option

Thank You for help

Try using XonXff as the flow control. It must set on the Keithley and on the serial port of the computer.
This helps with long commands and large data transfers.
