2430 IV curve doesn't agree VI curves after third party cali

Post by Tijeras » September 29th, 2011, 3:03 pm

Hi, we were using a 2430 for IV scans: use voltage scource for small current scan, and current sweep mode for high current scan.
It was fine before the calibration, the two curves were connected to each other perfectly. But after calibration by third party, there are some weired points around the junction of the two curves, is this caused by offset? any idea how to fix this problem?
Thanks

If it worked before the calibration then your unit is ok and so is your procedure.
Sounds like the calibration did something.
What levels are you dealing with and where are the "weird" points?

Fixed the problem, there was an offset for the small voltage range, we recalibrated it, and it works fine now.
Thanks for helping.
