2200-71-1 Matlab VISA Object

Post by UAB-GS » May 29th, 2014, 4:58 am

In order to create the VISA object in Matlab the instruction takes the form:

obj = visa ('vendor', 'rsrcname');

Could you fill in the information of this command for the 2200-71-2 model?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

'vendor' = 'keithley'
'rsrcname' = depends on the remote interface you are using. If it is USB, then something like 'USB::0x0699::0x0397::9999999::INSTR'' should be entered. this string contains a serial # specific to your power supply. you can find this information using NI VISA Interactive, TekVisa or Keithley Configurator. If you are using GPIB, then the string is something like "GPIB0::99::INSTR". The 99 number is specific to the GPIB address you set.

Thanks,
Qing
