How fast can you query the current measured by Model 2230-30

How fast can you query the Model 2230-30-1 power supply using the command "MEASure:CURRent? CH1 "
We are finding that there needs to be a delay between the VISA Write and the VISA Read in order for the power meter to return a current value consistently.

If the delay is too short, i.e. 50 ms the power meter returns "zero" on every 2nd execution in a command loop.
If the delay is 200 ms the power meter returns the command consistently in the command loop but that meant it was almost a second for every query which is slow.

What is the expected amount of time (delay) for the power meter to process the command "MEASure:CURRent? CH1" consistently ?

Regards,
Kevin

Hello Kevin,
The 2200 series supplies are basically slow.
I would expect about 150msec for responses.
