Series 2200 Timer Function - Front Panel & SCPI Commands

Please refer to the example below on how to use the output timer feature on the Series 2200 power supplies.

This example sets up the power supply to output 6V, 1A for 7seconds before the output automatically turns off.
Front Panel Operation

Push Shift and Menu
Use the up/down arrows or the knob to select Protect. Push Enter
Use the up/down arrows or the knob to select Out Time Set. Push Enter
Use the up/down arrows or the knob or the keypad to select On, Push Enter
Use the up/down arrows or the knob or the keypad to input Timer = 7.00S. Push Enter.
Push Esc a few times to return to the initial screen.
Push V-Set. Use the up/down arrows or the knob or the keypad to input 6V. Push Enter.
Push I-Set. Use the up/down arrows or the knob or the keypad to input 1A. Push Enter.
Push Output On/Off to turn on the output.
---Wait for 7 seconds. The Output turns off automatically.

Programming Commands

*RST
SOURCE:FUNC:MODE FIX
SOURCE:VOLT 6V
SOURCE:CURR 1A

---Configure the duration of the timer
OUTPut:TIMer:DELay 7s

---Enable the timer feature
OUTPUT:TIMER:STATE ON
OUTPUT:STATE ON

---Disable the timer feature
OUTPUT:TIMER:STATE OFF
