Keithley 6517B zero correction with LabVIEW

Post by Afulco_064 » July 16th, 2018, 2:41 am

Hello

For my experiments, I use a self-written LabVIEW code that writes commands to and reads output from a Keithley 6517B electrometer, through GPIB connection. The problem is when I try to implement zero correction on the charge; the LabVIEW code does not return any errors, but the display of the electrometer gives 'error code -200' (execution error). The chain of commands in which this error occurs is as follows:

:syst:zch on
:sens:char:ref:stat 1
:init:cont 0
:syst:zcor:acq
:syst:zcor 1
:syst:zch off
:read?
:sens:char:ref:acq
:read?
:trace:clear

Apart from the error code, the code works fine. As suggested in this topic: viewtopic.php?t=14720, I tried to put some time delays between the commands, however to no avail. Does someone know a solution for this problem?

Thank you in advance!

A.
