low voltage amplifier

Post by LICH0031 » August 27th, 2012, 8:50 am

My group now needs an amplifier to amplify the very small voltage signals (at nV scale) generated by thermocouple sensor (the frequency of the signal is very small to, say 0.1Hz and will be changing continuously with no fixed signal waveform). We want to amplify them first before sending to display on a computer. Does any of the Keithley Products suit our requirements? Thank you.

Look at the Model 2182A Nanovoltmeter.
It can measure to 1nV (1e-9V) and has an analog output.
That should help.
Here is the link to the data sheet.

Thank you for your kind reply, Dale. Except the voltmeter, no more amplifiers suitable?

Correct.
No other amplifiers from Keithley.
