2651 has the same programming interface as 261X/260X?

Post by jdavidow » August 25th, 2011, 3:53 pm

Is the 2651 essentially a drop in replacement for the 260X and 261X, or is the scripting interface different in any way (other than the physical limits of the device itself?)

Thank you!

Yes, it is basically a drop-in replacement with a different power envelope. The 2651A uses the same ICL commands for control as the rest of the 2600A family. There are a few additional commands as well such as circular buffers and asynchronous triggering as well. It has the same TSP embedded interface in it through the internal webpage and can use the Test Script Builder suite. All - support including the datasheet, manuals, app notes, and more are available at the link below. Let me know if you have any more questions.
