Post by guangchen08 » July 12th, 2012, 4:15 pm

Hello,

What is the pulse specs for 2657A? can it generate a single pulse with rise time (20ns), pulse width (0.1us), amplitude (up to 200V, 2kW)?

Thanks!

Regards,
Guang

The data sheet of 2657A is attached below;

2657A is a Source Measure Unit and not a Pulse Generator. Therefore, the answer to your question is NO.

It will be great if you can expand on your measurement and application. Why do you need a fast rise time, narrow PW at high Voltage amplitude?

Thanks for the reply, Jane.
I am actually looking for a high power pulse generator. I thought 2657A can do it. Can you recommend a pulse generator for a single square pulse with 0.1us to 20us pulse width and up to 2kW power?

Check Auriga or -. They might have something for you. It might be worth checking TLP approach systems like Barth pulser.
