The digital I/O port on the rear of the 2657A provides a +5 V output that can be used to drive external logic circuitry. The maximum current output for the +5V is 250mA. The +5V line is protected by a self-resetting fuse whose recovery time is approximately 1 hour. The digital I/O port +5V on the 2651A also has a 250mA maximum current output. It also is protected by a self-resetting fuse whose recovery time is approximately 1 hour. The difference between other 26xxA systems is that their +5V outputs have a maximum output current of 600mA.
