Output unknown number of arrays from UTM

Post by suhart » April 18th, 2018, 11:22 pm

From within a UTM of the 4200-SCS the question is how to retrieve an unknown number of arrays.
What we want to do is to sweep SMU1 while varying the voltage at SMU2, the user may select the number of steps at SMU2.

If the number of Arrays / vectors would be clear, in the UTM you simply define each of the output parameters as *float,
but how do you do this, if the number is not clear when compiling/linking? Is is possible to create a twodimensional Array that Clarius can open?

The other Option I see, would be to directly save the measured data to a file,
e.g. create an ASCII file with fopen and then save with fprintf in the UTM.
However fprintf brings an error message at linking (see attached).
What could be the reason for this?

Thanks a lot for your help!
