High Voltage DC measurements using 4200

Post by ramgen » November 2nd, 2010, 12:48 pm

How can I get more than 100V DC out of the 4200 SMU's, our 4200 does not source more than 38V. Please help.

You need to make sure that the interlock is satisfied. Read more about this in the 4200 Reference Manual pages 2-12 through 2-13. Also see pages 4-21 through 4-24 for exact wiring.

Please go through the 4200 Interlock technical note. The procedure helps you to enable the high voltage sourcing capability of the 4200-SCS.
