Post Inking Issue

Post by chundley » October 5th, 2015, 8:26 am

Trying to use the Post Inking option in ACS, with an EG2001x. Vendor was in to install the inking system, Xandex X1100 pneumatic inker and it is working with the prober. I am getting an unexpected fatal error:KTEX:Eroor in PrEnInk(1), error code is -1003 FEAT_NOT_SUPPORT. We have 2 theories that the error could be related to the system looking to initialize the inker on port 1, or a 4 port system, when we are using port 2. Port 1 is not working so we switched to port 2. The second theory is the system is looking to initialize the post ink camera, which we do not have. This only came up because we captured the GPIB code being sent and this is where the system stops.

Is anyone still using inking as a process to mark out wafers? Any ideas on how to get around this issue?

Thank you.

Suggest you work with your local FAE and try sending ink commands from site_end UAP.
