Kickstart2.5.0 fails to limit current in a dc voltage sweep with SMU 2602B

Post by rabbitkiller » June 12th, 2021, 12:49 am

Dear all

I am using Kickstart 2.5.0 (trial version, downloaded from Tek official site) to control my SMU 2602B in order to perform a dc voltage sweep (0-5V) on a resistor. I set current limit to be 2e-6 A. However, during the sweep, the measured current mounts to 4e-6 A.

I try different current limits, but the current is never limited. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem?

Thanks!
