Scale factor on 2510 VSS sensor

Post by Dominique M » February 21st, 2011, 8:19 am

I have two questions on the 2510,:

1:in the 2510 user manual page 56 the scale factor for the VSS is in K/A(it’s not A but V) but the problem is on the front panel on the 2510 the scale factor is in V/K, does anyone know if we must used the factor in K/V or V/K, ( the offset factor in the formule is in K, it seems normal that the scale factor is K/V). Where is the mistake on the manual or on the front panel?

2:I didn’t find in the manual the speed of the loop for a VSS sensor, the customer (CEA ) want to add between the sensor and the 2510 a filter and he needs the know the speed of the measure.

Thanks in advance for your help.

1. The Model 2510 front panel is correct.
VSS = V / K

2. The speed is set to 16.67 msec no matter what.
This is a bug and a noise issue if you are using 50Hz power.
I will enter a problem report (NCM).
