I have a Keithley Nanovoltmeter Model 2182A.
I'm trying to work using the nanovoltmeter together with LabVIEW through the RS232 port. But I'm not getting response from the nanovoltmeter. It looks like the current firmware is for GPIB port.
Does anyone know where to get the firmware for RS232?

But only one can be active at a time.
Must use the front panel buttons to enable it.
Seems you meter might still be in the factory default of GPIB is enabled.
Review chapter 11 on configuring the RS-232.
On front panel, press Shift and then the RS-232 button to access the menu to enable it.
I believe the error must be in the labview drive. I checked the site and got only this:
"Keithley 2182A IEEE 488.2 (GPIB)"
http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_d ... el_id=5340
No drive appears for the rs232 port. Is there a drive available or a way to connect?
Are there any labview drives I need to be able to connect via the rs232 port in addition to NI-VISA?
I tried running to do some reading. Got two errors, one in labview and one in keithley.
The error in labview was "Error -1073807339 occurred at visa read in keithley 2182a.lvlib:Initialize.vi -> Keithley 2182 Relative Measurement.vi"
The error in Keithley was "Error +803 RS-232 Break detected".
Would anyone know the reason for these errors?
