Reading from 181 Nanovoltmeter

Post by vaibhavinegi » October 31st, 2014, 3:10 am

Hi
I am using 181 Nanovolmeter.
How can I get the address of this instrument.
Ni max doesn't showing any device.
I am using LabView to read data.
What are the command parameters to read voltage from it in Labview.

Thanks
Vaibhavi

The Model 181 has been obsolete for quite a while.
The address is selected by the rear panel address switched.
They are only read upon power up. So if you change the address then you need to recycle power to the unit to refresh the change.
This is shown on page 4-3 of the user manual.
here is the link to the manual on the KI site.
