208 volt power

Post by tlveik » November 17th, 2014, 12:35 pm

The equipment guys want to wire my 2182 nanovoltmeter with 208 volt power. I know that 208 is not listed as a selectable input voltage, but would 208 be within an acceptable voltage range? No tolerance is listed on the specification page.

I'd like to extend this question to the 2400 source meter and the 2700 multimeter too if I can here. Or should I post this question in those forums too?

in Germany the mains voltage is 230 V +/- 10 %. So a range of 207 to 253 V has to be covered.
All 3 mentioned instruments can be operated here; please select 220V at the voltage selector (not 2400 because of widerange input).
When changing from 110 please also check for appropriate fuse ratings.
