Reading 2 channel data simultaneously in 2182A nanovoltmeter

Post by sausgh » February 8th, 2015, 6:53 am

Dear All,
I wrote a simple Labview program to read the voltage. I did it for one channel and it is measuring fine way. My purpose is to measure the voltage at two point at the same time, so I need to read the voltage at both channel at a time. Anyone can help me regarding this.

Thanks & Regards
Saurabh

There is only one A/D converter in the Model 2182A.
So true simultaneous measurements are not possible.
One channel needs to be selected and then take a reading.
Then switch to the next channel and take another reading.
Look at the trigger model on page 7-5, figure 7-2 of the Model 2182A user manual.
Here is the link.

The Device action shows the channel in the device action.
So each reading detects the present channel.
