OVRFLW

Post by omranh » April 6th, 2015, 3:51 am

Hi

We bought a new 2182A in our lab. The display is just showing "OVRFLW" all the time. Any suggestion what is wrong with it?

What is connected to the input?
If it is just open circuit and floating, then it is possible to have overflow reading.
In that case, try shorting the HI to the LO for each channel.
On the provided 2107 cable,
CH1: red=HI, black=LO
CH2: green=HI, white=LO

Hi

Sure I tried shorting the inputs. Nothing but OVRFLW. We have another 2182A that is working perfectly fine.
