I'm using a 6487 and a GPIB-to-USB cable (KUSB-488B driver) to read currents in a Windows 8 (I'm going to use Labview). I think the driver is working fine, I can see my - model on Configuration Utility software.
When I start Diagnostic Tool, I can communicate with it, using the standard address, 22. If I put an *IDN? command, it's answer is OK.
However, every reading (READ?, MEASURE?, ...) I try to do after that makes a timeout error.
I also tried
as I saw in another topic and it makes a -113 error, "Undefined header", but it seems that's no error in my commands.
Could anyone help me?

Check out figure 7-2 in the 6487 Reference Manual. It shows the remote trigger model flow chart.
You can see the effect of arm count and trigger count in that figure.
