614 Battery

Post by Physics Lab » May 29th, 2012, 11:40 am

We have several 614 electrometers in the lab with batteries that read ~1V when disconnected. We always use wall power and never battery power. Can we just remove the battery pack? Or does the circuitry require the battery be installed?

As far as I remember you can remove the battery pack and just operate on line power with the Model 614.
