Post by Strider » January 28th, 2011, 6:20 am

I would like to know some standard configuration for the Model 7065 and high resistivity mode/measurement.

The Model 7065 Hall Effect card has a HI and Low resistivity mode. High resistivity is considered to be anything above 100k ohms.
To source current between pins 1 and 2, close 1!1!1 and 1!2!2.
To measure voltage between pins 3 and 4, close 1!3!3 and 1!4!4.
To set for high resistivity mode close 1!4!5.
When in the high resistivity mode be sure to set guard jumpers on the 7065 card to "Guarded". Remove the shield and the jumpers are in the rear of the card by the triax connectors.
Also make sure to set Model 6220 and 6221 to guard mode. This is in the TRIAX menu.
Press TRIAX, select INNER-SHIELD, select GUARD.
When sourcing 100nA through 10M square sample(means 10M in each leg of square) you should see 0.25V across pins 3 and 4.
