7002 wiring harness accessory

Post by JDAdams » January 5th, 2011, 1:37 pm

We have one of your 7002 switch matrixes and a high-density harness that is used with it. We would like to use it in a temperature testing application where the temperature could potentially be as high as 200 degrees C. Would the the standard harnesses be able to withstand this temperature? If not, do you have a stock solution for this application, or could you recommend a company that does?

Waiting for your answer, thanks.

Hello Jim,
Could you tell what Model number the wring harness is?
With that I might be able to look up the specs.

Yes, on one side of the connector, it has:

7011-314-1
1 meter
Rev A3
May 0846

And on the other side it says:

7011-MTC-1

The entire cable which is Keithley part number 7011-MTC-1 is made of of several components and is rated from 0Cto 50C.
This means that all of the components can be used up to 50C.
Maybe the cable can handle higher temperatures, of this I am not sure.
The cable is from Hitachi with a part number #48343-50.
Maybe Hitachi has more detailed specs
