PA1000+ Power Analyzer Not showing PF

Post by sonalivsasane » May 28th, 2015, 12:27 am

Hello All,

I need a technical help on PA1000+ power analyzer. It is not showing PF (power factor) in Integrator mode but it shows PF in the normal mode.

So can anyone please help me over this issue.
Regards,

Sonali.

Check the measurements menu to see if PF is selected as one of the Measurements when you are in the integrator mode. Each mode (Normal or Integrator) can have individual measurements turned on or off.

Hello Sir,

Thank you for replying Sir!
I have selected the PF option confirmed. The problem is it even shows the PF heading but doesnt show nay value.
Same but i do it in normal mode i get the PF readings. And one scenario is like when i switch from normal to integrator mode it shows PF readings, but again if i make the Power analyzer off & on, it again doesn't show any PF value. What might be happening then.

Regards,

Sonali.

Hello Sonali.,

This is a bug in the PA1000 operation and has been noted by our engineering team. At this time, if you turn off the PA1000 you will have to go back to the Normal mode and make a measurement and then switch back to the Integrator mode to re-enable the PF reading.

Until we can implement a firmware resolution the work around is: Change the mode to Normal and back to Integrator and PF value should come back.
