PM1000 Voltech power meter showing varaitions in voltage

Post by sonalivsasane » June 6th, 2015, 3:36 am

Hello All,

Our organisation have one PM1000 Power Meter which was from Votech Instruments (Now taken over by Tektronics). The problem we are facing with that Power Meter is that we are getting variations in the Voltage source like if we give 230 V input voltage it shows 245 V sometimes 230 V i.e. it shows variations of +/-15 to 20V difference.
Actually in last few months we have been using the meter continuously. So is the meter sustainable to continuous use? Would the voltage variations that we are facing now might have been due to this?

Can anyone please suggest any solution to this.

Regards,

Sonali.

This is not normal operation. Voltech still supports the instruments they sold and has their name on them. I recommend contacting Voltech for repair.
