What is a simple method to verify the Model 7065 is operating properly?
Which cross points should be closed to just output a current from the current source and be measured by the -.

To verify the Model 7065 is operating properly use the following procedure.
1. Connect the - to the ammeter port on the card. This is the female BNC connector.
2. Connect the current source to the current source female triax connector on the card. This is the left most triax connector when viewing the card from the rear.
3. Place the 7065 into the 7001 or 7002 scanner mainframe. Make sure the slot the 7065 is in is set for the 7065 on the 7001 or 7002. Select CARD, TYPE, SLOT, and input 7065.
4. Close cross points 1!1!1 and 1!4!1.
5. Configure the current source to output 1mA.
6. Configure the - to the 1mA range and disable Zero Check.
7. There should be 1mA on the display of the -.
This verifies the connections are correct and all three units are operating properly.

Re: 7065 verification
I am having an issue with the high resistivity mode in my 7065. In low resistivity mode all cross points behave properly and switch correctly, however, in high resistivity mode I am seeing very strange results (unstable and much higher voltages). I am beginning to suspect the guard source followers are fried. Is there a simple way to check this and is it repairable? Can you configure a circuit with four resistors. In a square, each leg is a resistor.
The resistors are the same magnitude.
Make it high value resistors(>1M ohm).
Then watch the video. and see if that helps.

Re: 7065 verification
We are bringing up a 7065 card we recently purchased and are seeing erratic behavior on the guard lines.
